오는 10월 27일부터 31일까지 포르투칼, 포르투에서 열리는 월드뮤직마켓 'WOMEX 2021'(World Music Expo, 월드뮤직엑스포)쇼케이스 무대에 '동양고주파' 가 2020년에 이어 2021년 ✌️2년 연속✌️ 선정되었습니다. 👏👏👏
‘워멕스’ 는 1994년 독일 베를린에서 시작돼 매년 유럽 주요 도시를 순회하며 개최되는 세계 최대 국제 뮤직 마켓입니다. 유네스코가 선정한 ‘꼭 한번 방문해야 하는 세계 음악 마켓’으로 평가되는 축제이기도 합니다.
동양고주파는 앞선 2020년 헝가리, 부다페스트에서 개최 예정이었던 ‘월드뮤직엑스포2020’ 에 공식 쇼케이스 무대로 초청받았으나 코로나 19의 여파로 인해 디지털 온라인 행사로 개최되어 아쉬움을 남겼었습니다. 하지만 올해 ‘WOMEX 2021’ 에 다시한번 공식 쇼케이스 무대로 초청을 받았습니다. 2년 연속 선정을 받은 것은 매우 이례적이며 아시아 밴드로는 최초입니다.
동양고주파의 음악이 세계 월드 뮤직 시장에 선보일 수 있는 좋은 기회가 열렸습니다. 워멕스를 준비하며 그 과정 속에서 더 단단하고 성숙한 동양고주파가 될 것입니다. 열심히 준비해서 좋은 공연 만들어 보겠습니다.

On the World Music Market 'WOMEX 2021' (World Music Expo) to be held in Porto, Portugal from October 27 to 31, ‘DongyangGozupa ' will be selected as for 2 consecutive years following 2020.
'Wormex' is the world's largest international music market, which started in Berlin, Germany in 1994 and is held annually in major European cities. It is also a festival that has been evaluated as a “must-visit world music market” by UNESCO.
‘DongyangGozupa’ was invited as an official showcase stage to the ‘World Music Expo 2020’ scheduled to be held in Budapest, Hungary in 2020, but it was held as a digital online event in the aftermath of Corona 19, leaving a disappointment. However, we was once again invited to the official showcase stage at ‘WOMEX 2021’ this year. It is very unusual to be selected for the second year in a row, and the first for an Asian band.
